Recently, I have begun to receive orders for a variety of types of surfboards. As a newer board builder, I am beginning to recognize the need to have several basic models which will serve as starting points for discussion with customers. The four models I have chosen to offer can accommodate a broad range of surfing styles and interests. For each model, I have included a range of available dimensions, a base price (and what that includes) as well as some pictures to help you visualize how the boards will look. As I mentioned, the model itself is merely a starting point for discussion. Customization is encouraged and rider feedback is much appreciated. My hope is by focusing on these four designs, I will learn to refine my craft and deliver a better and more consistent finished product. The entire production process is still done by hand here at my shop in Ojai, CA.
Model # 1: The Stubby Twin
Dimensions (5'4"-5'10") * (20.5-21.5) * (2.5-3")
A great board for small to medium sized point surf. Will also work well in a beach break especially when set up as a quad instead of a twin. The board features a wide planing area as well as a curvy outline conducive to drawn-out, arcing turns.
Base Price with glassed on Keel Fins= 400 USD + tax
Futures Boxes (Quad)=385 USD + tax
Myself with the first version of this board (5'8")
